Carnival web
Created by the Arts Council of England to assist the development and marketing of Carnival Arts, as well as show what’s happening in Carnival throughout the UK. Information from British based masqueraders, steel bands, costume designers, carnival events, sound systems and other carnival artforms.
European Mela Network
European Mela Network supports the development of Melas across Europe. There are more than thirty melas in the UK, with more across Europe.
ILAM
Institute of Leisure and Amenity Management, a membership organisation drawing 7,000 members from local authorities, commercial, voluntary and education sectors working in leisure and amenities. Information through weekly and monthly magazines; professional qualifications; short course training; policy development and lobbying.
ITC
The Independent Theatre Council (ITC) is the management association and representative body for middle and small scale performing arts organisations. This membership organisation is made up of companies, venues and individuals working in the fields of drama, physical theatre, music-theatre, dance, theatre for young people, mixed media, puppetry, circus and opera.
NASA
NASA is an independent national network of UK-based Street Artists working to develop professional practice through networking, peer support, sharing of information, collaboration and advocacy. It is a network for both individual artists and artists’ companies creating work for the street and other outdoor contexts.
It aims to act as a forum for discussion, exploring common issues and methodologies in order to engage with peers, audiences, promoters, local authorities, development agencies, funders and the media to support the development of the sector.
